Our Quality Policy

  • To ensure the proper management of all types of waste generated as a result of activities conducted at our hotel, including its separation at the source based on type, collection, temporary storage, recycling, transportation, and disposal.
  • To minimize environmental damage during the use of natural resources.
  • To establish sustainable performance criteria that continuously grow and evolve in line with our management systems and objectives
  • To minimize the environmental impacts resulting from our operations and prevent environmental pollution, we will conduct all necessary monitoring, measurement, analysis, and control activities to ensure full compliance with all applicable environmental laws and regulations.
  • Shaping our policies by taking into account the requests and efforts of the local community as well as civil society organizations, institutions, and agencies
  • Implement a continuous training program to foster environmental awareness among our employees
  • The “Sustainability Team,” established to address sustainability issues, is responsible for carrying out the work necessary for continuous improvement and reporting on these efforts to the team leader; the team leader, in turn, is responsible for making presentations to senior management regarding the work that needs to be done.

We believe that we can demonstrate our quality in the tourism and hospitality industry through the importance we place on guest satisfaction. We regularly monitor our guests’ satisfaction and effectively deliver our services in accordance with their requests and suggestions, while adhering to the requirements of the Quality, Guest Satisfaction, Food, and Environmental Safety Management System.

We take great care to ensure that every service provided at our facility prioritizes the safety and health of our employees and guests; to ensure this approach is effectively implemented, we have adopted as a principle the commitment to work in accordance with the goals we have established regarding Quality, Guest Satisfaction, Food Safety, and Environmental Safety.

We are committed to providing safe food by complying with all relevant legal regulations and guest requirements at every stage—from procurement to service—of every food item offered at our facility, to ensure the safety of our guests and staff.

At our facility, we comply with environmental laws and regulations and our guests’ expectations to protect nature and minimize the environmental impact of our operations. In accordance with these laws and regulations, we are committed to sorting and properly disposing of all types of waste generated during our operations, as well as keeping unnecessary consumption of water, electricity, energy, and chemicals under control.

In procurement processes, suppliers are selected and evaluated with due consideration of environmental factors.

We recognize that our staff plays a crucial role in implementing these policies, and we place great importance on their training and development. Aware that a well-trained, knowledgeable, self-confident, and respectful workforce plays a key role in attracting guests to our facility, we have made it a principle to continuously review and improve our guest services and management systems,

We ensure that all types of waste generated at our facility are sorted and measured at the point of origin based on their characteristics, and that they are collected, temporarily stored, and subjected to “recovery” and “disposal,” with post-disposal monitoring. To ensure the correct amount of chemicals is used in the right places, we conduct periodic staff training and provide the necessary equipment and storage conditions.

To ensure the proper use of natural resources, we keep up with technological advancements and put them into practice.

We regularly monitor our water, electricity, and chemical consumption, and implement corrective and improvement measures when deviations occur.

We keep our guests informed about all the sustainable environmental initiatives we carry out as a hotel. We encourage them to participate in our social and community initiatives and invite them to get involved. Through the questions in the “environment” section of our guest satisfaction surveys, we gather their feedback so we can continue to improve.

Our goal is to support sustainable tourism through our work and, to the extent we can, make a difference by helping to improve quality and protect the resources needed by the business community.

Based on the principle that all people are equal and free in terms of rights and dignity, Günay Hotel considers the creation and maintenance of a fair work environment for its employees—in compliance with national and international laws and regulations—to be one of its top priorities.

In our relationships with our employees, guests, suppliers, the local community, and all other business partners, we are mindful of our responsibility to act in accordance with human rights, to protect them, and to encourage others to be mindful of them as well.

At Günay Hotel, every employee enjoys equal access to all legally recognized rights and freedoms. All of our employees participate in an orientation training program, during which we explain our facility, our rules, our resources and facilities, and our expectations.

A suggestion and request form has been created to encourage employee participation. This allows all employees to submit their suggestions and requests for improving the system in writing to senior management.

Employee needs are continuously reviewed by senior management through meetings held as needed.

Ensuring the safety of our employees, guests, and suppliers is the primary objective of our occupational health and safety efforts.
