In line with this, we have adopted a comprehensive “Environmental and Green Policy” to protect Muğla’s environmental values and leave a more livable world for future generations.

Our Environmental Commitments

1. Conservation of Natural Resources and Efficiency Water and energy conservation are top priorities in our hotel’s operational processes. We minimize our carbon footprint by not changing towels and linens daily (unless requested by guests), using motion-sensor lighting systems, low-flow faucets, and energy-efficient lighting equipment. To protect Bodrum’s limited water resources, we prioritize efficiency in our wastewater management and garden irrigation processes.

2. Waste Management and Plastic Reduction: Guided by our “Zero Waste” vision, we sort our household, packaging, and hazardous waste generated within the hotel at the source. We operate in full compliance with the Bodrum Municipality’s recycling policies and ensure that all waste is sent to licensed recycling facilities. In addition, we are gradually phasing out the use of single-use plastics in the services we offer our guests, opting instead for biodegradable or reusable eco-friendly alternatives.

3. Regional Sourcing and the Local Economy One way to reduce our environmental impact is to lower carbon emissions from logistics. For this reason, we prioritize local producers in the Bodrum and Muğla regions within our hotel’s supply chain. By incorporating seasonal and locally grown produce into our kitchen, we not only reduce food waste but also support the local economy, creating a sustainable “farm-to-table” value chain.

4. Conservation of Local Biodiversity Protecting Bodrum’s unique flora and coastline is our top priority. In our hotel garden, we prioritize endemic plant species that are well-suited to the local climate and require minimal water. By avoiding the use of chemical fertilizers and pesticides, we employ eco-friendly methods in our garden maintenance and operate in a manner that does not harm the region’s wildlife.

5. Education, Awareness, and Continuous Improvement We share our environmental vision not only with hotel management but also with all our employees and guests. We regularly provide our staff with professional training on environmental awareness and waste management.
